I am currently designing an automated multi-gem faceting machine. I am also looking to pursue a master's degree in mechatronics/control systems and want to be a part of a workplace where I can contribute and grow in that field.
Ball Balancing Table
My version of the ball balancing table using a high-speed camera to track a ball on a tilting surface. An embedded controller to calculate correct servo angles based on mathematical model of the system and small servo motors to actuate the table to prevent the ball from falling off.
Automated Gem Faceter
Automated gem faceter I am currently designing. It works 8 semi-precious stones at a time and has 3 polishing stages. Design is almost complete and I will be building it next.
Expert System Based AI Software on Vibration Based Machinery Fault Diagnoses
My graduation project. Estimates the most likely cause of failure of centrifugal pumps based vibration data provided by the user and linear algebra concepts. A simple UI in turkish available to be used and tested on the website.
Custom Fixture Design for Vertical Dialyzer Cap Cutting Machine
Old fixture on the machine caused material buildup from shear as the caps were getting cut, resulting in a suboptimal surface quality. I designed a custom self-locking fixture that improved the surface quality and eliminated the need for an extra dedicated operator.
0D Single-Zone Model of a 4-Stroke SI Engine
A single-zone, zero-dimensional (0D) model of a spark ignition (SI) internal combustion engine (ICE) was modeled in MATLAB. Also an application that models any engine based on their paramteres were created using AppDesigner. Both are available on GitHub.
